Bern has been playing guitar for more years than he cares to remember and has played in numerous blues/rock bands over the years. More recently in The Mistreated in & around the Cambridgeshire area. Early influences include Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore, Tony Iommi through to the shredders of the 80’s & 90’s, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen etc.
In the eternal search for the ultimate tone Bern has accumulated tonnes of equipment, you can never have enough kit! But strangely always comes back to a Strat and a Marshall stack!
